This was a nice 'n short game. You're really good with writing character dialogue and making them all around likable people, I hope you keep making more games with thicc ass characters whether horror or not.
i was shaking in the final night the whole time and surprisingly beat the game first try with 0 deaths and 0 mad shadows! im not bragging but im gonna say this to the dev: please make it so if the player gets any of this make it so they get 2 stars and not 1 like always! but yeah great game

When I download it I get a file in zip form. When I extract it I get 5 files. All of those files dont even let me play the game or they just dont extract. (2 zip files) It keeps saying "The unarchiver is unable to extract this file" Im on mac btw.

Please keep in mind that the game is Windows only right now.
So, if you are using Windows, you'll need to download the ZIP file (which it seems that you've done already,) then extract the files.
To start the game, click on the BewareTheShadowcatcher application.
Hopefully this helps.

You're using Windows, aren't you? This will only work for Windows.
In order to extract a ZIP file, all you need to do is right click on it, then select "Extract All..."
Then just go through the prompts.

There is currently no official version of either game for Mac OS, as I am currently unavailable to develop for that system.
My apologies if this prevents you from playing the games.
There may be web versions of these games in the future, but for right now I have too many other things to tend to, first.
I really like the concept of the game, which involves serving people from another dimension and avoiding being seen.

As you can see in the Game Information, the game is for Windows only, so hopefully that's what you're using.
If so, just download the ZIP file by selecting "Download Now" on the game page.
Once downloaded, right-click the ZIP file, then select "Extract All..."
Follow the prompt, then open the newly extracted folder.
There are 5 files in this folder, and to start the game just click the one labeled BewareTheShadowcatcher
If you're still having issues, please just let me know.

The file here on Itch io is safe, which is evident by all the other players.
As long as you've downloaded the real version from here on Itch io, it should be safe to run.

I am currently unable to develop for Mac, and am constrained to Windows only for the foreseeable future, I'm afraid.
