anyone else seeing the spinning demon when it leaves at 1 am like it would get half way thru the hall and starts spinning out

That's very strange. I hope nothing has broken with the game.

It may just be on your end, because if the game was broken surely more people would have mentioned it.

I'll keep an eye out, thanks for letting me know.

Even demons from the pits of Hades love Beyblade.

First of all, let me thank you for taking the time to leave such a very nice comment!

I'm happy to hear you enjoyed the game as much as you did, and I appreciate the compliments.  :)

Also, the Boyd family was very well received, so I'll definitely have to bring them back eventually!

Hell yeah, my boy Boyd getting his own game.

Wow!! Didnt expect there to be a new game this quick! Also noticed there are more stars now. Really cool! :D

Thank you! I always try to do my best to improve upon things.

It doesn't always pan out, of course, but I do try.  :)

Really well done! I managed to get the good ending after one failure!

I really loved it and thought the idea is a lot of fun, a great change from a lot of the "Survive till 6AM" games.  I would love to see a harder version, with a lot more chores and chaos at some point!

Anyway! thanks for sharing your art!

Nice going!

Thanks for playing.  :)

Man. i love this game! now ill be honest i havent played it my self. but i watched youtubers play it. and honestly i must admit you are a really skilled developer! man. if i only i could make games this awesome!

Also. i feel like all these games are connected in a way. all of them take part in a small town and have similar characters! ill be honest. i thought this was a animal only world. like zootopia but apparently i was wrong! man. i would like to see game theory try to solve this games lore.

Thank you so much, your kind words are very, very appreciated!

As time goes on the story will unfold more and more, and I want to do the best that I can for it.  :)

can I burn vermander?

Nope.  :)

The demon pretty much does that for you.

true

aww maybe next time

Well, thank you very much.  :)

I appreciate the enthusiastic support!

Like i said in my other game I enjoyed this game but I found one thing.

I don't know if it's intentional but, when the doctor dies the next time the monster comes even if you finish all the tasks perfectly the monster stops randomly, looks at where the nurse is and kills them (the same thing happens when the nurse dies first). Now I don't know if it's meant to be like this or if this is a bug.

Yeah, that was definitely not intentional!

Thanks for telling me about it, I've patched it out now.

I appreciate the help.

(+1)

Nice job on the bug fix.

Great game, I liked the story. The gameplay was pretty good. The only complaint I have is we don't really get to see the demon that much.

It's still a good game.

Great! Thanks for playing, I really appreciate it.

And I'll keep your critique in mind for the future, so thank you for that as well.  :)

i downloaded the game right away after watching one of my favorite youtubers play it.  i was glad to learn that it was free to play! xD
even though i knew what the game was about, i still had a lot of fun playing it. i had to keep checking during the hours that i completed everything correctly because i wanted the best possible ending; however, i don't regret it because i ended up getting double stars!

i don't have any complaints with the game, but i'm quite interested as to why there are only two human characters and that most of the characters are animals. does this have any importance? who knows.

anyway, thanks for creating a game that was so enjoyable! i've never played any of your games before, but i really enjoyed this one. please do not overwork yourself; remember to take breaks and keep up the good work! <3

Thank you very much for taking the time to leave this comment, I appreciate it.

I'm happy to hear you've enjoyed the game, and very grateful for your kind words!

Hopefully as the games continue, most of the story-related questions will be answered.

Thanks again, and I'll be sure to keep in mind not to overdue things.  :)

of course, it's important for developers like you to know how much players like us like your games. it means a lot to me that you took the time out of your busy day to respond. <3

i'm looking forward to having my questions answered, and i'll be sure to keep an eye out for your amazing games on itch.io and through the youtuber i previously mentioned. and a big thanks! i'm relieved to hear that you won't exhaust yourself. <3

This is definitely a big change of pace in terms of characters and design. Hannah and Vermander, being our first human characters fit very well among the anthropomorphic characters, but ironically I think Vermander's proportions are more irregular than anyone else's. His head is just teeny tiny in comparison to his body. Another complaint I have is the lack of the appearance of the demon. I know it can appear at the windows before quickly disappearing, but I genuinely didn't know this until I was actively looking for it, just so I could see it. Man in the Window and Beware the Shadowcatcher are better in the regards that the monsters are shown partially, and frequently enough to where you can imagine the whole beast, and sure you do see the Shadowcatcher in full, the Man is still mostly vague. Even then, when seeing the demon's "full design" thanks to lit up images that some folks had used for thumbnails, it isn't particularly frightening or unnerving in comparison to the priors. Overall though, the game is pretty good, character's are enjoyable, designs were nice, and the gameplay was once again unique. I'd give a solid 7/10, with Beware the Shadowcatcher still being my favorite game of yours so far.

also damn i typed a lot lmao

I appreciate you taking the time to write out such a detailed summary of your thoughts on the game!

A 7/10 is a very fair conclusion, thank you.  :)

And I will keep your critiques in mind for going forwards, thanks again.

I finally decided to finish the game and I was not disappointed.

One thing I love about some of your games is that the endings are either funny or wholesome.

Great! Glad to hear you finished it and liked the ending.

Once again, thanks for playing.  :)

Nice Game like the others ^^

Thank you very much!

And thank you for playing, as well.  :)

Good game, altough I felt that the ending was kinda too exaggerated but nevertheless I like the gameplay.

Thank you!  :)

You are at it again :o] Well, well, well, no matter what I did, a window remained open [with devastating consequences]. No matter how many times I checked, I couldn't  find a flickering light [with devastating consequences]. How does it end...? See for yourselves :o]

Kudos to all involved.

I'm sorry to hear you had some trouble with this one as well, but I appreciate the fact you keep trying!

Thank you!  :)

@ Zed Technician,

No worries. I like what you're doing, so never mind me :o]

Thanks!

Glad you liked this one, and as always thank you for playing as well.  :)

About the only truly bizzare thing with that billionare villain is that he changed his ways in the good ending.

Otherwise it's quite great game, great expansion of ideas and gameplay from your previous games.

A fair assessment.  ;)

Thanks for playing and I appreciate the kind words!

You do know how to make the characters quite charming. A very enjoyable gameplay and story. Had a lot of fun.

Loved it! You certainly have a style all your own-- I love the gameplay and how it changes with every "cycle". Below is my No Commentary playthrough with the Good and Bad Endings. Nice job!

Oh My God This Game Actually Scared Me, And The Way How He Is Waving In The Window Made Me Pee My Pants

And Really Good Game                                                    (because i have not used        the bathroom in 5 hours)

Played your new game yesterday, had a great time! By the way, is there any way to prevent any of the patients from getting attacked by the demon or is the gamed coded to where some patients are forced to be attacked by the demon? Either way, this was a blast to play

(+1)

Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed.  :)

And I won't spoil anything major here, but there is a way to save everyone, yes.

Awww, I'll have to figure that out soon, thanks!

Hi there, I am DragonExplosion and I am a Youtuber. If you like my videos, please leave a like and subscribe at my channel.

I believe that this is the 4th game I have played from Zed_Technician and I had a lot of fun playing through this game. The game makes use of the same concept as the previous 2 games where there are tasks for the main character to complete in order to survive from the pursuer. I liked that the game had a really rich and engaging storyline that makes me/ the player desire to get the good ending for the game. The mood and atmosphere for this game was definitely much scarier than the previous games due to the good use of lighting (Red/Dark) and having the player complete tasks within a time limit. The random factor of one of the patients definitely screwed me up quite badly until I realise the reason why XD. I really enjoyed the story for the games and the story of this game was really nice as well where everything flowed smoothly with an ending that just clears up most of my doubts. Furthermore, the jumpscares were cleverly placed in the game and I enjoyed the small scares a lot. Moreover, getting three stars at the end of the game was definitely something that I did not expect and I found it pretty funny and cool at the same time XDDD. Will be looking forward to more game by Zed_Technician in the future. (Was wondering if the creator was going to create an entirely new game with an entirely new game mechanic in the future?)

Thank you for reading my comment and I wish you good luck in your future endeavours.

As always, your feedback is appreciated!

Thanks once again for such an in-depth summary of your thoughts on the game, and thanks for playing, too.  :)

Good luck to you as well.

Always a treat to see a new release from you! I played a bit of it so far and I'm loving the expanded cast of characters within this one and the interesting new mechanics over time.

Overall another great game, and as a 3D creator, would love to get into contact with you.

Thank you very much, I'm glad to hear you like the game so far!

And for the record, I appreciate the interest, but at the moment I'm not really looking for any extra help.

But again, thank you.  :)

Finished the game and got two stars, still a great game and it runs great on the Steam Deck, but I do wish it lasted a bit longer after all the "training wheels" of mechanics are told and off.  That or having a survival mode of some sort would be a really fun addition.

Oh also for clarification was just wanting to get into contact with ya to just chat is all (You know from one 3D artist to another kind of thing.) You are free to contact me on my Twitter (@Reyriders) if ever up for a chat sometime. :)

I thank you for your time and the response!

great  story and game but if it's ok can we get a story for mr Lang's wife because that would be awesome

Thank you!  :)

I'll keep your suggestion in mind.

J.P. Vermander is a great villain and I really hope he comes back and i hope if he does we get to beat the hell out of him :)
